ACCOMPLISHMENT HIGHLIGHTS

LEADERSHIP

Lead U.S. Defense Threat Reduction Agency post 9/11 mission in cooperation with over 80 Uzbek and Russian Government representatives in successfully destroying over 13 tons of military grade anthrax stored and tested by the Russian Government at the Vozrozhdeniya Island, Uzbekistan R&D facility. Mission success in part was attributed to strong leadership and team building competency to align stakeholders from different scientific, military, government, and business organizations.

STRATEGIC THINKING

Lead creation of US Mail system preparedness and response, including assessment and decontamination of Whitehouse warehouse for anthrax, obtaining fast track approvals for a new technology from U.S. EPA through diligent execution of strategic plan, and demonstrated cost and time saving method in addition to technically superior approach.

EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT

Achieved technology transfer in Anthrax abatement technology through direct communication with U.S. Senators, a major pharmaceutical service company and U.S. Government agencies to produce collaborative demonstrations of innovative technology.

INNOVATION

Developed and implemented strategy to grow construction business to $25MM in revenue within a traditional engineering and consulting organization through strategic thinking, detailed planning, team building, persuasive communication, and execution.

Executive leadership for business assessment, turnaround, and implementation of exit strategy for $130 MM waste management enterprise.

ACTUAL EXPERIENCE

THE LOUIS BERGER GROUP, INC., Morristown, NJ; Toms River, NJ; Galveston, TX &

Exton, PA. Currently a DIRECTOR for this National and International Engineering and

Construction Management Company

  • Operational lead for Berger’s Emergency Management Recovery Services group

focused on major client programs like USPS, FEMA, VDEM/VDOT and other state and

local agencies. Navigating FEMA recovery actions for clients in New Jersey, Virginia,

Alabama, Florida, New Orleans, Louisiana and Texas to include appeals, PA program

management of PWs, coastal/beach re-nourishment, park and facilities restoration and all PA program related support. The Recovery group has managed several hundred resources at peak. Strength: ability to build and grow client base and optimize existing clients by gaining trust and confidence through ensuring performance and effective communications.

  • Lead the companies Brownfields and Coastal/Sediments practice focused on waterfront redevelopment opportunities and dredge material management (DMM)

logistics both domestically and internationally.

  • Opened offices in Galveston, Texas and Toms River, NJ to support multiple clients

for FEMA recovery actions and for supporting growth and redevelopment efforts

for Berger.

  • Logistics Coordinator for BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill through contract with

Bureau Veritas to provide Health & Safety and Industrial Hygiene support services

both in the Gulf and land based EOC support.

  • Support to Prime Power division assisting in environmental review and evaluation of

a Berger/Cummins power plant under construction in Liberia, Africa.

  • Responsible for program management and developed full service integrated team

for a $1.6B redevelopment initiative in Pennsauken/Camden, New Jersey.

  • Provide program management and guidance for a multi-agency sediment

remediation project on one of the most contaminated rivers in the Unites States.

  • Responsible for technology evaluations and for strategic guidance on mergers and

acquisitions for US Domestic Operations that involve environmental components.
