The Aspinall Foundation

A registered charity that is actively involved with several projects that incorporate a diverse range of conservation activities both at their Kent based Howletts and Port Lympne Wild Animal Parks, in addition to well-established overseas projects in the Republic of Congo and Gabon and more recent developing projects in Indonesia and Madagascar. Our main spheres of conservation-based activity include captive breeding, education, ecosystem management, local community education projects, capacity building, habitat surveys and the rehabilitation of confiscated wild animals.

The Aspinall Foundation is the charity which works in conjunction with Port Lympne and Howletts Wild Animal Parks.

Many animal species throughout the world are becoming increasingly rare and endangered through loss of natural habitat, poaching and pollution.

We love what we do and with your continued help, we can carry on with greater confidence. Like everything in life, our work costs money. Remember, we are a charity, and we rely on the kind support of people like you. Without this, many of the endangered species we’re protecting face a bleak future. Their natural habitats are being destroyed and many are systematically slaughtered. Our work here and abroad will go a long way to changing this.
