The Ilídio Pinho Foundation intends to apply the profits of its actives in its perpetuity and in its actions so that they may contribute to the development of Science, Economy, Hi-Tech innovation, the promotion of Portuguese Culture and to the reinforcement of solidarity among people, so that all are integrated in the models of globalization with which are confronted by.
The Ilídio Pinho Foundation establishes as primary strategic guidance the promotion of Science and Technology to the service of Men, affirming the following strategic goals:
- Perpetuate the business roots of its Founder
- Promote the diffusion of Science and Knowledge
- Contribute to the reinforcement of the relations between University, Centres of Innovation and Demonstration and the Companies
- Intervene and participate in the processes of cultural, social, and economical transformation generated by the Information Society and the Digital Economy
- Promote actions that develop the concept of citizenship
- Increase the capacities of the Portuguese Diaspora and the communication between Portuguese speaking countries.
