We unite scientists, policy reformers, community organizers, state groups, researchers, sustainable business leaders, national experts, communications specialists, and many others in collaborative work to transform the chemical and fossil fuel industries so they are sources of community health, economic sustainability, and justice rather than of pollution, disease, and planetary harm.
We believe we can and must transition our fossil fuel based chemical and energy economy toward a new era of economic sustainability and community wellness based on innovations and new applications of green chemistry and clean energy.
For more than a dozen years, Coming Clean has led a national effort to protect communities and the environment from industrial chemical and fossil fuel pollution.
Coming Clean is a broad and diverse environmental health campaigning collaborative that works at the intersection of chemicals, energy, health, and justice. We support a wide variety of workgroups, teams, projects, and campaigns, and host ten separate web sites, each with its own focus.
